فقدان الذاكرة (Memory loss) يحدث لمجموعة من الأسباب سواء كانت الشيخوخة أو كبير السن أو إصابة في الدماغ أو الحالة النفسية والعقلية للشخص أو الكحول وفقدان بعض العناصر الغذائية في الجسم، له علاج ومعتمد على السبب وكثير من طرق العلاج متوفرة للجميع.
ما معنى فقدان الذاكرة؟
فقدان الذاكرة هو النسيان غير المعتاد، قد لا تكون قادرًا على تذكر الأحداث الجديدة، أو تذكر واحدة أو أكثر من ذكريات الماضي أو كلاهما، ربما يكون النسيان لفترة قصيرة ويتم حله (أي مؤقتًا)، أو لا يختفي، ويمكن أن يزداد الأمر سوءًا بمرور الوقت؛ اعتمادًا على السبب، وفي الحالات الشديدة يتداخل ضعف الذاكرة مع أنشطة الحياة اليومية

ما علاج فقدان الذاكرة؟
يمكن معالجة أنواع من النسيان بإجراء التعديلات على نمط الحياة والأدوية :
• النوم: قلة النوم المستمرة تساهم بشكل كبير في النسيان، لذلك يُقترح النوم لمدة 6 ساعات على الأقل بالنسبة للبالغين
