Original video of the Magdeburg Christmas market attack: Driver arrested

At 7:04 p.m., a dark-colored BMW was used in the attack at the Magdeburg Christmas market.

While conflicting reports emerged about the number of victims, Magdeburg Mayor Regina Dolores Stiller-Hinze confirmed that at least one person had died and more than 50 were injured.

The city reported that 68 people were injured, 15 of whom are in critical condition. The driver was arrested immediately after the attack.
