Pre-TT Classic Road Closures Today at Billown Course in Isle of Man

The Pre-TT Classic road closures will affect roads around the Billown Course in the south of the Isle of Man on Friday, May 23. Organizers confirmed that qualifying sessions and evening races will continue after an interrupted practice session on Thursday evening.
Officials temporarily stopped the previous qualifying session after rider Neil Rutledge was involved in an incident at Church Bends. Event organizers later stated that the rider was reported to be okay.
According to the official race timetable, roads around the Billown Course will close at 12:30 p.m. for afternoon qualifying sessions. The roads are expected to reopen by 4:30 p.m. at the latest. Evening racing will begin after another road closure at 6 p.m., with roads reopening no later than 9:30 p.m.
The Pre-TT Classic event includes several motorcycle racing categories, including Singles, Junior Superbikes, Senior Classic, and Sidecar Classic races. The competition is considered an important part of the build-up to the famous Isle of Man TT.
