LIVERPOOL 4-3 FULHAM: JURGEN KLOPP’S SIDE EDGE SEVEN-GOAL PREMIER LEAGUE THRILLER AT ANFIELD
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side edged a seven-goal thriller against Fulham at Anfield, with Trent Alexander-Arnold scoring the dramatic winner in the 88th minute.
The Reds twice came from behind, with Alexander-Arnold’s stunning free-kick and Alexis Mac Allister’s wonder strike putting them ahead in the first half. However, former Liverpool youngster Harry Wilson and Kenny Tete scored before the break to level the scores.
Fulham took the lead for the first time with 10 minutes remaining when Bobby Decordova-Reid headed home Tom Cairney’s cross. However, Liverpool responded with two goals in a minute, with Japanese substitute Waturo Endo firing home from the edge of the area before Alexander-Arnold sealed the victory with a half-volley.
The win sees Liverpool stay just two points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal.
