وفاة السيناتور الأمريكي السابق جو ليبرمان
توفي السيناتور الأمريكي السابق والمرشح السابق لمنصب نائب الرئيس عن الحزب الديمقراطي عام 2000، جو ليبرمان، عن عمر ناهز 82 عاما في نيويورك بعد تعرضه لمضاعفات جراء تعثره في منزله، حسبما ذكرت أسرته.
وذكرت قناة “الحرة” الأمريكية اليوم الخمس، ليبرمان كان مرشح الحزب الديمقراطي لمنصب نائب الرئيس في انتخابات عام 2000 التي فاز بها الجمهوري جورج دبليو بوش على الديمقراطي إل جور.
