video Angel City’s Savy King Collapses on Field vs. Utah 

Angel City FC defender Savy King collapsed during the 74th minute of their 2-0 win over Utah Royals at BMO Stadium. Medical staff rushed to the scene and appeared to perform chest compressions before she was stretchered off the field.

King was later transported to a hospital in Los Angeles, where she was evaluated and is now responsive. Angel City assistant coach Eleri Earnshaw confirmed her condition and stated that King is in good hands with her family and the team’s medical staff.

Players from both teams gathered post-match to pray for her recovery. The entire NWSL community has shown support and solidarity on social media.
