أفصحت الفنانة ياسمين صبري عن بعض الأمور المهنية بصورة صريحة، أثناء جلسة تابعة لمهرجان البحر الأحمر السينمائي الدولي، وتحدثت مؤكدة أنها تجتهد على نفسها حتى تصبح ذات فن ثقيل.
كما تقول أنها ليست نجمة أفلام مهرجانات وإنها نجمة شباك تذاكر، وفي ذات الوقت لا ترى أن التمثيل من أساسيات حياتها، بالأخص أنها لم تقدم عمل فني خلال السنتين السابقين، للتطوير من قدراتها في عديد من المجالات متابعة علوم الطاقة.
كما أنها تحدثت عن العواقب التي تصدت لها منذ بدايتها، مثل مسلسل “فرصة ثانية”، موضحة أنها لم تكمل بالدور وغادرت نظرًا لإنها لم ترى التزام، وأنها صاحبة حق، بالرغم من اهتمامهابتجنب المشاكل والخلافات، كما أوضحت أن سلاحها القوي هو الاستغناء، كما قالت أن الحياة مش مستاهلة نعيّشها في ضغط أبداً، الحياة قصيرة جداً، والشخص ينبغي أن يعيش في راحة نفسية”.
وأهم المحطات التي نفذتها هي نقلات مهمة في حياتها المهنية بالتدريج “طريقي” في البداية، حيث قامت بالدور بطبيعتها ورأت أن الممثل الذي يقوم بطبيعته يصل للناس أكثر، وكان العمل نقلة هامة في حياتها المهنية بالنسبة لها، وأن كل عمل قامت به كان لها اكتشاف هام في حياتها.
